JOSIP KULUNDZIC’S THEORETICAL WORKS

ON EXPRESSIONIST THEATRE

Summary

Josip Kulundžić (1899–1970), prominent Yugoslav playwright, theatre director and arts theoretician active between the wars, paid due attention to some interesting questions of his time. The influence of expressionism, to which Kulundzic himself adhered, found an important place in his early dramas and essays on theatre, both of which reveal the scope of his talent and his thought.
